"From a very young age I've loved shoes! I think I was 7 when I got a pair of black suede ankle strap shoes with little heels and rainbow colored butterfly embroidery on the front, and that was it, I was in love!

I came to the USA in 1997 right after graduating a private high school in Izmir, Turkey. I first studied International Business and shortly after I went back to study Marketing and Management at the University of Washington, Business School in Seattle, WA.

Since college, I've only worked at large corporations at high levels and yet my obsession with heels grew with my career life.

Same obsession and love for heels have finally inspired me to hang up my business suits as a Director for a pharmaceutical marketing company and embark on this adventure with Zeyzani line in 2009.

The Zeyzani name is derived from my first name [Zeynep] and the fabric name suzani, hand-stitched silk by artisans in Uzbekistan, with vibrantly colored motifs of tulips, paisleys, pomegranates, grapevines and other designs from ancient Greece and the Ottoman Empire.

Some people love collecting paintings, others love collecting heels! But make no mistake, these are not your typical boots and shoes, these are one-of-a-kind hand embroidered Zeyzanis.

Each pair of Zeyzani is a work of art, unique and no two are alike; they all have their own distinctive pattern. In all regular line Zeyzanis, you will find an intentional imperfection or two, implying "Only God is perfect!"

I've had an amazing time so far helping women increase their self-awareness and discover their inner sensualist through my boots and will always continue to do so. Ive always believed women are at their peak when they feel and look sexy. With that sexiness comes confidence, especially when it emanates from such beautiful hand crafted piece of art that is one-of-a-kind and only theirs: Zeyzani!

And the next in line was bringing out my inner child to life. It was now time to go back to my childhood and bring that passion and make other children fall in love with shoes, boots and more so with the tradition and colorful embroidery I carry in my Zeyzani line! Here we are 2011/2012 Fall/Winter we welcome Zeyzani Kids to our Zeyzani Family; which I might add, not only kids but also many adults are going crazy over!.."
